The Eurotherm Variable speed/684S is designed to control standard 3-phase induction motors with precision, these drives are also known as frequency inverters. The inverters cover power ratings from 0.75kW to 75kW with constant torque applications. The ratings are between 1.1kW and 90kW for quadratic torque applications.

The drives are therefore the ideal solutions for general industrial use and the control of pumps and fans. The user can choose either constant torque mode or quadratic torque mode via software.

These drives operate from a 3-way mains supply with voltages of either 280V to 240V or 380V to 460V.
