The ZETADYN 4C is a field-oriented frequency inverter.
With this drive, you can control the speed of three-phase motors. Also, Ziehl-Abegg has designed these inverters to be used with elevators or lifts.
The frequency inverter has an integrated microprocessor control. This computer monitors the motor through time and distance-restricted programs. These programs are chosen using superior elevator control technology.
The Zetadyn 4C also offers an AC mains with variable frequency and adjustable voltage. Therefore, the magnitude of the voltage and frequency depends on the traveling speed you select and the size of the load.
You can control the motor to the best advantage in all operating points using field-orientated control. This gives you every required torque without much delay. Besides that, the full-rated motor torque is available at a standstill or 0 speed. All speed curves drive at a controlled speed and are independent of the load.
The field-orientated control allows extremely accurate matching with the particular travel curve over the speed range. Also, the closed-loop control can be used up to a speed of 4 m/s. The brakes suffer little wear throughout the controlled change from speed 0.
